Cultivating diversity with Bwyd Sir Gar Food.

Cultivating diversity with Bwyd Sir Gar Food.

We’re deeply passionate about creating a community that’s inclusive, kind, and where everyone has access to organic food. A space where culture, good food, and shared humanity are the pillars that keep us grounded and true.

Recently, we facilitated a series of events called Cultivating Diversity in the Carmarthenshire area. In collaboration with Bwyd Sir Gar Food and Cegin Hedin ,we delivered a beautiful workshop filled with open-hearted conversation—centred on meaningful memories, what truly matters to each of us, and how the community garden at Bremenda Isaf Farm could come to life.

What we discovered was deeply moving: generous sharing, real connection, and a collective understanding of how our first experiences with food—and with land—shaped us in the most tender and powerful ways. We listened to stories of ancestors carrying seeds across continents, of food that wasn’t just sustenance, but identity.

We shared beautiful meals created by Cegin Hedin planted seeds and had a farm walk with the very knowledgeable Piers Lunt and Augusta Lewis. We sat on the grass, and connected simply as human beings. It felt important. It felt like something we all needed.

We also found that many of us want to speak more Welsh, to celebrate cultural holidays together, and to embrace the peace we’ve found living here. There was a strong sense that moving to Wales felt like a homecoming—a calling, even.

We hope to host more sessions like this, and we truly hope to see you there. Here’s to the beginning of a movement that honours and celebrates every one of us.

Would you join us at the next one?
